Yersin was born in Cienfuegos Cuba and grew up with a passion for music that led him to a lifelong journey in the world of dancing.
With strong Afrocuban roots, Yersin started at Cienfuego’s Casa de la Cultura, later becoming a prominent figure in Cuban Salsa and traditional dances.
Yersin’s influence expanded globally, teaching and performing at various festivals and congresses including notable appearances on both BBC and ITV.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Yersin runs Cuban Salsa classes in Newcastle aiming to celebrate culture through dance.
Yersin is also an accomplished DJ, showcasing his skills at festivals and events across the UK and Europe.
Yersin has taught & DJ’d previously at Salsa feel the heat events and it is a great pleasure to have him back with us once again and we are sure that many participants will look forward to joining his classes.
