Leandro’s warmth, sense of fun and enthusiasm for dance fills a room! From beginners’ level to advanced master classes, Leandro aims to help students grow their skills and as a result, their pleasure in dancing. Leandro's professional dance background means that he can incorporate many years of experience in dance steps, body movement and styling in every class, whatever the level.
In Cuba, Leandro made his living as a professional dancer, performer and choreographer. His passion for dance began in childhood, and his dance training began when he was 8 years old. He graduated with distinction from 7 years of study with a leading Havana dance company which is renowned for it’s breadth of teaching and emphasis on the performance arts. Leandro attained teaching qualifications after 2 more years of study and has taught and performed in all the Cuban dance forms; salsa, son, cha cha cha, rumba, afro and of course, reggaeton.
This positive energy has made Leandro a firm favourite at Salsa congresses and Weekenders.
