Lisi is a highly accomplished professional dancer born in Cuba, received her training at the esteemed Dance School of Cuba (ENA) - Academy of Spanish Dances), where she studied classical ballet, Spanish dance, modern and contemporary dance, music, and flamenco. She began her career with the Ballet Español de Cuba Dance Company, performing in prominent events such as the International Festival La Huella, the Cuban Tourism Convention, and various Cuban television programmes.
Lisi’s talent soon led her to join the Havana Rakatan Dance Company, where she performed at prestigious festivals including Cubadisco Festival, La Cuerda Viva Festival, Alabanza International Festival del Habano, and Premios Lucas, among others. Notably, she participated as a dancer in the launch of Jean Paul Gaultier's perfume in Cuba in 2006.
Internationally, Lisi's career expanded with performances in Switzerland and Italy, gracing renowned venues such as the Theater Sistina di Roma, Festival Latinoamericando in Milan, Festival Internazionale del Balletto di Siracusa, and many others across cities like Naples, Bari, and Sicily. Her work was also featured on Italian television channels Rai 1 and Rai 2. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lisi starred in the critically acclaimed dance show Soy de Cuba, which received a 5-star rating from the Scotsman newspaper. In the United Kingdom, she appeared at the red carpet premiere of Cuban Fury in London, participated as a dancer in the film The Infiltrator, and performed for the JBC Tuxedo Collection in London. Additionally, she appeared at the Ballet Icons Gala at the London Coliseum Theatre and performed for Art in Fusion TV.
Lisi has appeared at many Congresses and Festivals since, such is her popularity.
Lisi has also appeared in music videos for renowned Cuban artists such as Los Van Van (Somos Diferentes), Emilio Frias El Niño y la Verdad (Vuelve a la Habana), and Pedrito Camacho y su Clan (No Tengo la Culpa) showcasing Lisi career with extraordinary versatility and dedication as a dancer.
