His training dates back to the Cuban company "Conjunto Artístico Maraguán." And received extensive training in Cuban popular dance, peasant folklore, Haitian roots, Jamaican roots, congas, and other genres.

For seven years, Danger consolidated everything he had learned and participated in prestigious international folklore festivals and took advantage of these opportunities to take his dance career to countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, France, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and other corners of Europe and South America.

Danger’s dedication and passion for dance quickly made him stand out and was selected as the best dancer at the Cuban festival of university artists.

As part of Maraguán, Danger won a silver medal at the Dijon International Festival (France) and a gold medal at the same event in 2007. The latter was considered the best folk music and dance festival in the world. Danger was also placed first at the Gorizia Competitive Folk Festival (Italy 2006) and has received other national and international awards and decorations and consistently demonstrated that he is an excellent exponent of the cultural work of Maraguán and Cuba.

Upon his arrival in Spain in 2010, Danger Rodríguez's artistic career evolved rapidly. His training as a dancer allowed him to serve as director and choreographer of the group "Evolution." From that moment on, he participated in numerous performances throughout several cities in Spain. Working intensively on the preparation and execution of choreographies of Cuban Salsa, Rumba, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Haitian, Jamaican, and other Latin rhythms from the Caribbean.

At the end of 2012, Danger participated in the preparation and staging of the choreography for the song "Lágrimas Negras" (Black Tears), set to music by Chucho Valdés. It was performed as part of the tribute to Bebo Valdés at the 45th Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival in Barcelona. This choreographic project enjoyed significant international success.

In 2014, Danger decided to create the "D&Y Dance Company" with his partner at that time, Yunaisy. "Encuentro," "One Night," "Soledad," "Declive," "Diablo Colorao," "Conciencia," and "A mis abuelos" are some of the choreographies in which they put their excellent execution technique to work. Their dedication has earned them acclaim in countries such as Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Croatia, and Norway.

At the same time, the artistic couple brings a new dance style to the dance world. They use their artistic creativity to create "Son Moderno," a novel dance style that blends the freshness of contemporary dance with the roots of the original Son. Thus, they have catapulted themselves into the position of the most distinguished and creative Cuban dance couple on the international scene.
