Danger & Yunaisy are professional cubans who have taught dance classes all over the world. Currently they have created their own dance school in Barcelona, but continue to travel through conferences and festivals of international dance around the world.
Renowned Cuban dancer Danger Rodríguez Pérez , born in Camaguey Cuba, is a distinguished exponent of international dance. The origins of his education go back to the Cuban company "Conjunto Artístico Maraguán" Dance group within which received a deep preparation in Cuban popular dance, peasant folklore, Haitian roots, Jamaican roots, congas and other genres.
For seven years he consolidated everything learned and participated in prestigious international festivals of Folklore. Opportunities that he took advantage of to take his dancing projection to countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, France, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and other corners of Europe and South America.
His dedication and passion for dancing made him stand out quickly. Being selected as the best dancer in the Cuban festival of university artists .
As part of Maraguán he won the silver medal at the "International Festival of Dijon" (France) and the gold medal of the same event during 2007. The latter is considered the best musician-dancer festival of folklore in the world.
It was also placed as the first place in the "Competitive Folk Festival of Gorizia" (Italy 2006). In addition to receiving other awards and decorations both nationally and internationally. Demonstrating in each moment to be an excellent exponent of the cultural work of Maraguán and Cuba.
Upon his arrival in Spain in 2010, the artistic career of Danger Rodríguez evolves rapidly. His training as a dancer allowed him to act as director and choreographer of the group "Evolution" . From that moment on he participates in numerous presentations throughout several cities of Spain. Working intensively in the preparation and execution of choreographies of Cuban salsa, rumba, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Haitian, Jamaican and other Latin rhythms of the Caribbean.
In this course of his career he forms an artistic couple with Yunaisy Farray . Recognized Cuban dancer of international fame with which she manages to connect professionally. At the end of 2012 they participate together in the preparation and staging of the choreography of the song "Lágrimas negras", played by Chucho Valdés .
In 2014, Danger decided to create together with Yunaisy the company "D & Y Dance Company" . Company with which they act in congresses and together they tour recognized Salsa international festivals, giving dance master classes and presenting exclusive artistic shows.
At the same time, the artistic pair brings a new style of dance to the artistic dance world. They make use of their artistic creativity to create the "Son Moderno" . An innovative dance style that mixes the freshness of contemporary dance with the roots of the original Son. Catapulting itself as the most distinguished and creative Cuban dance partner on the international scene.
Yunaisy is considered one of the greatest references in Cuban women's dance within the current international salsa scene
Yunaisy Farray was born in Havana, Cuba, in a family of first dancers where dance was the guiding thread. Yunaisy began a new stage in Europe, settling in Italy, making several television projects.
During 4 years she was a dancer and choreographer in the Latin Black group directed by Seo Fernández, with whom she toured Europe reaffirming herself as a dancer and teacher of great prestige in the best congresses and festivals in the world performing works that made her deserve the respect of the best in the salsa world.
In 2013 Yunaisy started a new artistic stage in Barcelona, together with her current dancer Danger Rodríguez, founder of her own dance school in Mataró (Barcelona) and teaches
a wide range of disciplines to learn Cuban Salsa , Bachata (traditional bachata, sensual bachata and street bachata) diversity of Cuban genres (rumba, folklore, reggaeton , are, timba), contemporary dance (afro-contemporary and various techniques), jazz, ballet, hip-hop, different types of sexy style such as street heels, heels & elegance.
